Hello, Savannah!

This morning before we left Perry, Georgia, we had a visitor.  Sandie, one of the waitresses from Kiss the Cook in Glendale where we used to eat lunch a couple of times a week when we were working, drove out to where we were parked at Fair Harbor.  We hadn't seen her since she left Glendale in 2000.  We had a great visit!

We stopped at this McDonald's for lunch because their sign on the freeway said they had bus parking.  Well, we are a bus . . . sort of!  This was in Dublin, Georgia.  When we went up to the counter, Elijah knew we were from out of town and when we told him we were from Arizona, he immediately mentioned how much he liked the AZ Cardinals and how he really liked Larry Fitzgerald.  When we left, as we went out the door, he called out to us to tell Larry Fitzgerald that Elijah said "Hi."

From Interstate 16 today while headed to Savannah, there was a turn of for Vidalia, Georgia.  I'm pretty sure that they are known for their Vidalia Sweet Onions.

I am getting claustrophobic!  We're from the wide open spaces and miss being able to look out to see the horizon!

This is one of the first trees that greeted us as we pulled into our campground at Fort McAllister State Historic Park.  See the moss?
