Today was Senator John McCain's Town Hall at Grace Bible Church in Sun City. As we were getting close, we knew we were in trouble as they were already parking down both sides of 99th Avenue.
Grace Bible Church is just south of our new church, Willowbrook. Both of the large parking lots were completely full!
And Sheriff Joe had his Mobile Command Center there.
There were numerous TV Stations set up in the parking lot, too. We didn't even get in. As we were walking up, people were returning to their cars and telling others that the Fire Department had closed it to anyone else (even Standing Room Only) because they were over capacity. I tried to tell Dave we should have left earlier! But then, George told us that at 8:00 this morning, they were showing on TV all the people that were already there!
