The Visitors' Center in Coos Bay suggested that we take a Dune Buggy Tour of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
We were the only ones. They use old Suburbans and the tires only have twelve pounds of air in them.
This is what I thought it would look like all the way, but you will see later that it wasn't this boring!

Our driver was a retired Portland motorcycle policeman and the spend the winters in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
