Looking Down into Yosemite Valley

These pictures are from June 11th.

Once again we had great information from the Visitors' Center in Mariposa -- the town where we were staying. We were going into Yosemite late in the afternoon and asked what we should be sure to do and see. The suggestion was that we take the Glacier Point Road first and look down into the valley.

This was our first viewpoint down into the valley. Awesome, isn't it?

And this is one of the famous landmarks called Half Dome.

With Half Dome in the background, see that tourist out on that rock? We couldn't believe at all the viewpoints up here, people were climbing all over the rocks -- and it was a long way down! Just crazy!
