Scandinavian Heritage Center

One bright, sunny day we visited the Scandinavian Heritage Center in Minot. The grounds were beautiful. This is a replica (one of 6 in the U.S.) of a Stave Church in Norway. They are built from heavy timbers and there are no nails or bolts holding everything together -- only wooden pegs.
