Seems like I can only post four pictures in one posting (lucky you, I guess!). This formation is called Independence Monument. It was all connected many years ago, but this has been carved out by the elements.
We tried to get on the Internet this morning in the Public Library in Fruita, but the the connection was very weak and very slow, so we left. We were sitting at a children's table on stools and, as you can see, I have my box of crayons handy! There were only two electrical outlets available for public use in a very old building.
