This morning we were on our way to breakfast at 7:30 with Mike and Roswitha when we encountered a very strange sight. We came upon a police cruiser stopped in our lane and the officer was out of the vehicle trying to get close to a loose horse to keep it out of the roadway. He apparently didn't have a halter or anything and then the horse started on down the road opposite of the way we were going and the officer followed it with his lights on.
