Canyon de Chelly

These are some of the scenic pictures of Canyon de Chelly. We had thought we might take one of their guided tours before we got there. They are in a six-wheel drive open vehicle (sort of like the Pink Jeep Tours in Sedona, only larger vehicles), but we decided we would drive the south rim 16 mile drive and just see it from the top. It is beautiful!

One of the famous ruins, The White House, is just below the half line of the picture. Try enlarging the photo by left clicking and using the arrows to move around. Then use the "back" arrow to return to the Blog.

I don't know the name of this -- just thought it was a pretty scene!

This one is called Spider Rock. Kind of looks like Independence Rock in the Colorado National Monument, doesn't it?
