On Tuesday, we went on a Whale Watching Trip out of Port Townsend to Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands. There are three pods of orcas in the area.
But, alas, we saw no orcas! There is a lone Minke whale in this picture . . . can you see it?
Everything on the San Juan Islands has to be brought in by water. This is a tanker truck being shipped to Friday Harbor.
There were two tugboats working a log flow.
