After our little drive around Mobile, we stopped at this place for Sunday Dinner. It was listed in the AAA book and we had seen it because it is not far from Meaher State Park . . . and . . . the parking lot was full of locals. That's always a good sign. Oh . . . by the way . . . we did not have oysters!
There were airboat rides near the restaurant.
After we ate, we stopped by the Five Rivers Delta Resource Center.
In the Classroom Center, they had all sorts of things set up for the kids. As we walked in the door, this gal was coming into the room with this live skunk and one of the other helpers was reminding the children to move slowly and quietly!
Now . . . is that a lure to use in the ocean??
Dave had quite a visit with the lady in the Gift Shop and she has a sister who lives in Prescott. It is a small world and we enjoy visiting with people as we travel.

We were very lucky to be able to connect with a couple from our former church in Phoenix. Kent and Peggy were gracious to invite us over to just visit. We didn't leave our campsite until it was dark, so that was a trip driving at night to find a place we'd never been, but our GPS got it right . . . well that and Kent's verbal directions for confirmation. Peggy really knew the background on the Mardi Gras Parades and didn't mind answering all my questions! She's a very gracious "Southern" lady! Thanks, Peggy!
Their new little dog, Lucy, moved just as the camera clicked.
