This is the Miccosukee Casino where we spent last night dry camping in the parking lot.
We went over for breakfast, and it was very interesting. Every door going in had a long notice on the glass about it being a Federal place of business and listed everything that was banned . . . such as firearms. Every door going into the hotel and even at various points around the casino had armed officers. It was the strangest feeling because we've never encountered such an armed security presence at any casino. And when I asked one of them for directions to the eating places, I could barely understand him!
Uh oh! The tool box is out!
Dave had to re-work the line on the connector that keeps the Honda's battery charged.
A lot of the other RV's had already left. There were a lot there overnight.
Dave opted out of taking I-75 across Florida and instead chose Highway 41 which crosses the southern part of Florida from Miami to Naples. It is basically a two-lane road with no pullouts to stop at the side of the road except at attractions.
We really hadn't planned on stopping.
This one gave those airboat rides in the swamp. You can see one sitting there between the shelter and the water.
And here is one leaving for a ride.
