This 'n That


At the Visitor's Center, they had this display of the damage the mussels can cause within six months.

Really good visualization of the problem.

Brookings, Oregon is known as the Banana Belt of Oregon.  Temperatures in the winter range from lows in the 40's to highs in the 60's.  In the summer, the temps range from lows in the 50's to highs in the 70's.  There seems to be a lot of retirees here!

This is the sign for Highway 101, but I hadn't been able to get a picture of it before!

These flowers were about the first ones that we saw that were this beautiful blue color.  I'm not sure if they are rhododendrons or not. 

We drove to Gold Beach today and all of the hydrants were gold!
