Today, June 12th, was a very interesting day!

They were resurfacing the road we were on. Messy! At a couple of places, there were pilot vehicles leading the group through to be sure we were on the correct side of the road.

Oops! We were the third vehicle behind the pilot vehicle at this point, and the first guy takes off and goes up this other road where there is a flagger standing. The fifth wheel follows, and so do we because we didn't figure out what was happening fast enough. We didn't think it was right, but by then it was too late to change. The pilot vehicle driver is probably really wondering!

So we get up the wrong road a ways and by that time I have figured out from the map that it would get us back to where we were going, but it added quite a few miles. So . . . we decided to turn around . . . and there wasn't much room, so we came very close to this gravel pile. But, Dave got turned without having to unhook the tow vehicle and back the motorhome up.
