This is the famous landmark at Shiprock, New Mexico.
This was another rock formation very close to the highway and I liked it! It sort of reminded me of a cathedral.
With the landmark Shiprock in the background, we stopped to see if we could assist a fellow motorhomer. It was a diesel and he had help on the way but had already been waiting for 2 hours.
And, tonight, what could be better? Cool breezy fresh air, rain and cable TV with a football game! We drove exactly 450 miles today to get to Towoac, Colorado, which is a casino just south of Cortez, CO. Oh, yes, and my USB modem is working well because it is allowing me to post to the Blog -- aren't you lucky?
