No Garmin????

Aaaaaccccckkkkk! When I plugged the Garmin in this morning, it didn't come on! Oh no! We didn't use it on Sunday and it is a good thing because she would have been in a tizzy that we were not going the way we had planned.


So we started troubleshooting and reading the book!

See that mess of wires? Under the dash it is just full of wires. We tried replacing fuses that were for the cigarette lighter which is where the Garmin plugs in. But the radio was off, too, so we tried those. All to no avail. When we were resting on Wolf Creek Pass, Dave called Winnebago and he basically told us to use the 12 volt tester and then had Dave locate some additional fuses which were not listed in the book. So after thinking about it the rest of the afternoon and checking the dash tonight and replacing fuses again and then having them short out immediately, Dave found a dangling loose wire. But the problem is seeing where it came from -- see the Brake Buddy plugged into the cigarette lighter? The radio box sits in front of that. Hmmmmmm . . . more thinking! I'd really like to have our Garmin to get through Denver tomorrow!
