April Fool's Weather

On this April 1st, we went for one of Dave's "little rides" and discovered a YMCA Camp called Trails West. It is north of the monument and we were really surprised. There is a building that has eight bedrooms and a large multi-purpose area (we are thinking for the next Funk Family Reunion, perhaps?) and were just surprised that they had such a facility here!

This is the afternoon sky showing that the trees are budded out, but no leaves yet. Today went from the bright and sunshiney morning from the first picture to rain, sleet, snow this evening with thunder and lightning! This afternoon the temperature dropped 20 degrees in just a few hours! Ahhh . . . that's springtime in Nebraska!

Dad found an Easter Egg with chocolate candy in it when he went out to check for his mail today. Later, we heard children and saw the school bus. Apparently . . . the eggs were for the kids as they were on an Easter Egg Hunt!

At Connie and Kevin's, K.C.'s cat, Max, untied Dave's shoestrings to try to play with them.
