The little town of Fruita is west of Grand Junction and there is a Colorado State Park that we like to stay at located in that town. By the time we got to Fruita, Dave decided that he needed to get the road grime off of the Honda. We put my $6.00 in the machine after we had watched two cars successfully wash. When it came our turn, it wouldn't start even though we backed out, pushed the buttons and tried it several times. It ate our money!
As we were setting up in Fruita, I happened to be outside while Dave was operating the slides outward. A chunk of metal ripped off the awning over the dining slide and fell near those bushes. It's a good thing that I was out there and saw it happen and wasn't in the way to get hit by the chunk of metal. Otherwise, we might not have known about it. This is the same one that was repaired several trips ago in Cheyenne from the strong side winds. Dave decided to repair it himself with what he had rather than take it to a shop. We carry a variety of tools and "sticky" stuff!
