When we got to Denver Thursday, the place where we usually stay (Adams County Fairgrounds) was having a three-day dog show starting on Friday. The whole area was supposed to have the camping sites reserved for the participants. We just told they guy in charge that we would be out by 9:00 on Friday morning and picked a site way at the end and out of the way. When we returned from visiting Ruben and Lydia about 7:30, parked right next to us was a motorhome with dog kennels between our motorhome and theirs. Ours was the only motorhome that had another one parked right next to it!

I had to sneak this picture from our bedroom window with the flash off, but we figured they had 10 - 12 dogs outside! And they were hound dogs with the howl to go along! Every little noise we made, they would all start howling! Dave thought they were bloodhounds, but I'm not sure what they were. We thought we were really in for a long night, but they apparently took them all inside and we didn't hear a noise out of them until about 6:15 in the morning.
