Across the Plains


This pretty boring picture is from Tuesday morning between Denver and Fort Morgan on I-76. Not much there, is there?


And here we enter Nebraska south of Kimball. Kinda looks like eastern Colorado, doesn't it?


These are the Wildcat Hills south of Gering. As a child, it was always exciting to look for the herd of buffalo that might be feeding or roaming these hills.


And here, once again, we have Scotts Bluff National Monument with the old Gering sugar factory at the left. This is the stalks of corn remaining from last year, and the farmers are starting to turn the ground for the new crops. Now . . . will I have snow to show you tomorrow?? I don't know!
