Right above the Goulding's sign is where we are camped. Can you make out the Lodge at the base of the rocks on the left? You should see the tour buses come in here! If they didn't bring people in to spend the night, there wouldn't be much business for them, I think.
Part of the lodge and you have to drive around this way to get up to the restaurant. We shared a giant Navajo Taco -- yummy! The Fry Bread was just so light and airy! It was perfect, but I was so ready to eat that I forgot to take a picture first, so you'll just have to take my word!
This is the old Monument Valley Trading Post with, of course, Monument Valley in the background.
