Fog in Valentine, Too

These pictures are from Wednesday, September 22nd.

When we woke up in Valentine, NE, there was fog, too.

I nearly missed this picture, but I like it, so you're going to see it! The cattle were on ahead of the cowboy. He had his yellow rain slicker on and maybe he wasn't to wild about going to work that morning!

This was the day that the bad rain storms went through Nebraska, South Dakota and into Minnesota. We saw pictures of tennis-ball sized hail on the news that evening. We knew there would be a storm ahead of us. We listened to the Weather Band on the radio and looked at our maps for the county names since that is how they give a lot of the weather information. Had to use a lot of map-reading skills! But . . . we didn't see any hail, just the effects of it afterwards.

Turkeys being real nervy crossing the road in front of a motorhome!
