This place is about 6 miles west of Port Angeles and we stayed here on Friday and Saturday night.
Front wheels were off the ground in order to try to get level, but the place was well-cared for.
This was one of our favorite places -- you can't see the top of our motorhome as there are about three tiers down looking out on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. That's Canada on the other side.
We got here Sunday about 11:00, and the front row spaces are close to the water and we were lucky to get one. We thought they would be staying Sunday night since a lot of them stayed past the 12:00 check-out time, but a lot of them left later by 6:00 or so. Strange. But it is a County Park -- Salt Creek Recreation Area, so I guess they are more lax about the rules. We sat here in our front seats and watched three cruise ships depart on Sunday night. They were way across the Strait from us, though, so the pictures didn't show them very well. The Star Princess we were on two weeks earlier leaves Seattle at 4:00 P.M., and it takes them about five hours to get to this point -- not even out in the ocean yet.
