Space!

This is the New Mexico Air and Space Museum -- a Gem in the AAA Book -- and it is! It is a four-story building and you take the elevator up to the fourth floor and then the displays are on ramps leading you down. It is very good -- but quite technical.

This is the display of the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo capsules and you can barely see the Space Shuttle nose.

This is a Mercury capsule. The seven original Mercury astronauts could only be up to 5 feet 10 inches tall, can you can see why. There was barely room for one person in the space capsule.
