The view from the top -- those red-colored rocks in the foreground are the Garden of the Gods.
Dave really noticed the altitude change while we were up there and going down. It was chilly up here!
Do you know that this was the inspiration for the words to the song, "America the Beautiful?" On a clear day, you can see Denver and Kansas and New Mexico.
From the top, we could see the crystal-clear lakes we had passed.
