Are we in Kansas, Toto?
Yup . . . we were in Kansas! This photo was from Easter Sunday afternoon, and it sure looked like that was a funnel cloud touching down! But it was too darn cold!
It had been raining in Nebraska and apparently Kansas, too, since about Friday evening, so we had pulled out of one camping place that was just a mud hole. We kept driving until we found this one five miles out of our way out of Liberal (Dorothy's home) and it was gravel . . . a very welcome sight.
We thought the entrance was kind of unusual -- big round bales of hay with signs on them.
