Before we ate our Fourth of July Dinner on Friday, we all worked on a puzzle and got it together in record time! It was fun working it with eight people. That Josie is a real puzzle guru -- she's really good at it!
Didn't the puzzle turn out beautifully? Happy 232nd Birthday, America!
This is a line-up, of sorts, to get our food -- fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob, creamy cucumber salad, relish tray, fresh cherries, beer bread, iced tea, Texas Sheet Cake and homemade vanilla ice cream! Did I forget anything?
OK, OK . . . just quit taking pictures and let us dig in! We had a fun day of games, too. We played Trains and a new game that Dave and Lois taught us.
