We went to Harry & Joanna's house on Lake Cypress, Texas, and then they took us for "a little ride" and we went to the farm -- 90 acres that they own. He has pecan trees (which didn't produce well this year) and along with some other fruit trees, he also had these persimmons. He is picking one for us to taste. One year when he went to Costco and saw how expensive they were, he decided to raise some!
