Friday after Thanksgiving and it is time to get the tree out and up. But . . . there is a slight problem. Lights are out on two of the lower branches. Dave is using a clothespin to mark his place and pulling and checking each bulb on the branches that are out. Such patience now that he is retired and has the time! Finally, we gave up and turned those branches to the back. But he knew that I wasn't happy with that, so today we stopped at the Paddock Christmas Store to look at new trees. Well, forget about that! Their prices were half off today, but one we looked at was $1299 and it didn't have the number of lights we have!
So, we bought a handy dandy tool which the salesman happened to mentioned that they had. It is a gun that can check the wiring and the lights to see where the problem is. It worked great! We now have all the lights on!
This would be on our "Recommended List." We didn't pay $29.99, however, because it was on sale today for 40% off.
