This morning we went to the Grand Canyon South Rim and we were treated to a real sight by the California Condors. It must have been just the right time for them to catch the thermals near the Bright Angel Lodge and there must have been 5 - 8 of them. My camera couldn't click fast enough to try to keep up with them! Their wingspan is between 9 and 11 feet, and there are 60 of them in Arizona now.
